Local to Global Exploration

Only when we understand where we are, our local reality, our history, can we then collaborate with peers around the world.

Learning starts with ourselves, our environment, our community.

All students access experiences where they broaden learning outside of their personal or local context by analysis, comparison, and collaboration. Collaborative experiences begin locally: students reflect on personal experiences and compare to friends and family. They are encouraged to ask questions and debate. They then share with a more regional group of friends and colleagues, and ultimately broaden their scope of comprehension and collaboration in preparation for engaging with a global network (online and in-person). Through this, they hone their Ingenious Competency skills and actively practice bilingualism. Students are encouraged to make and learn from mistakes to prepare to meet all that comes their way post-graduation.

Ongoing in-person and virtual community.

As part of each international project, at every grade level, students follow the a local, regional, and international/global scaffolded approach. The goal is for students to be connecting virtually, and in person, on a regular basis, throughout their PK-12 years. Students get prepared to academically, personally, and professionally excel in the local environment and international, having the opportunity to gain access to competitive schools locally and internationally.
